I am quickly approaching yet another winter break. I always think it’s important to set goals before a break this long (I’m heading home on December 18th and returning to school on January 13th). So without further ado, here’s some of the stuff I want to work on over this winter break:
- Working out. I have been great at going to the gym over the last few months, but with school constantly going at full blast, it’s difficult to focus on anything else. Over this break, I want to work some long lifting sessions into my schedule and possibly some swimming sets if I’m not lifeguarding every day.
- Writing. I have fallen way behind on the third part in my novel series, which I’m not quite ready to format and release. This break, I hope to put my finishing touches on that work so it’s ready to go in 2016. (2015 will be the first year since 2013 without a novel release!)
- Project planning. I was recently elected as co-President of the Open Minds team, so I’ll be in charge of leading the club through 2016. That means I want to spend at least some time this break putting together some timelines and forms with the other co-Pres to set us up for a great semester!
Three goals seems manageable, so I will stop there. Hope you all make it through finals season healthy and have great success in your exams!
