We’ve probably used that title before. Tell you what, readers, George doesn’t really care.
So the word on the street is true: George Quentin is home for the summer. And what’s that? He’s actually writing a blog post. For Daroomiesroom. In the third person. DAMN, SON: fundamental laws of the universe have been overturned because we are actually publishing a blog post.
Quentin’s current occupation is that of a sales clerk at a bookstore. He’s enjoying the low stakes, but looking forward to the days at the Academy’s residential camp (where he’s also working this summer) when his days will be a little more full of activities and people. Work at the bookstore is a bit quirky and a little too empty for him; but hey, at least he’s surrounded with a thousand books on the shelves and a thousand more in his Kindle.
Rose returns to the Academy for her graduation this Sunday. Well, Quentin typed that poorly, but the ceremony is actually next Friday. Simply put, Rose is flying to New York on Sunday and graduating from the Academy on Friday. (In between are days including but not limited to: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.)
This is possibly a strange post, but George doesn’t seem terribly bothered. He assures the reader that this probably won’t become his new writing style because he’s aware that there’s a high likelihood of it becoming very annoying very quickly. However, he finds himself unable to write in the first person tonight.
George heard from Jane today. She messaged him after he gave her her graduation present because she also graduated from high school this week, and he decided she should finally have a Steam account, being headed off to college in all. Fred Dreamer will likely be pleased to hear that Lady Jane finds Portal to be quite an excellent video game.
