I will finally post about 2013, in this not so stunning review that will not envy the review from last year, “Ready for 2013?“. This review will be short and to the point, because I have to head out soon, and I will explain why in a bit.
So this year has had some ups and downs. Ups include (from the beginning of the year onward) meeting Madison, RT13, Cornell and all of the people whom I have met and have gotten to spend time with there, and, um, I think those are the major events. See “HISTORIES – Madison” and the month of June for the first two, and I guess the “#YOLO” series for Cornell. I don’t really have much time to go into more detail than that.
The year has had downs, too, most recently what Jane has been going through, but also the (sarcasm) utter despair that Beatrice brought to me when she rejected me (I’m actually glad, I like being friends with her now :), graduating from the Academy (at the time, this was a down, now I’m not so sure. I think I was ready to get out of there and move on to Cornell…), and I think that’s it…
I don’t quite know what I was expecting from 2013. I think I wanted it to get better from last year, and it did, because the beginning of 2012 was terrible. 2012 in general was terrible for me. 2013 was much nicer, and I think I learned a lot more about myself through it.
Sorry if this review isn’t what you were hoping for, but there are a lot of personal things that I need to work through before posting about them, you know?
Anyway, the reason why I can’t write for long is that I am off to NYC to see Gogol Bordello (gypsy punk band) tonight (the 30th) and be in Times Square on the 31st to watch the ball drop! In fact, this should come out while I’m standing there in the cold, so I guess, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Did you finish writing your resolutions yet? So, I will leave it here, and bid farewell to 2013.
And welcome, to 2014.
I’ll See You,
