Rose Rose Rose Rose Rose.
So I am visiting the Academy for the weekend, and that means I get to see Rose! Rose is here. Today I spent some time with her (Rose, that is). Rose and I held hands and also I kissed her. (Did I mention I saw Rose today? I saw Rose today.)
Problem – when I’m tired (which I am) I get a bit dumb. Today I think I said some kind of jerky things, and Rose was definitely a bit mad at me for those. What I’m really thankful for, though, is that she kept accepting my apologies and moving on. She’s a very forgiving person, which I really appreciate. Kind people are good people.
Rose gave me a present! One day I told her that my dorm room at Penn gets cold at night sometimes, so she bought me a blanket! Now, this is no ordinary blanket. This blanket is literally the fluffiest blanket in the entire world. It is more fluffy than a rabbit. It is more fluffy than a baby bunny. This thing is more fluffy than a baby bunny cuddling with another baby bunny on a field of seed-pod dandelions on the back of a gigantic fluffy baby bird. Like, seriously, it is warm and fluffy and I feel very fluffed and warm underneath it.
Also, I think I downplayed this today because I was so happy about the blanket that is LITERALLY SO FLUFFY but she gave me MARS BARS which are basically the physical manifestation of love and caring.
We went out to dinner tonight – we had a pizza. Half of it was covered in broccoli. Rose ate most of that half and I ate most of the other half. It was really good, but more importantly, I got to see Rose.
As always, thanks for reading!
