So here I am, sitting at my computer supposedly doing work, and actually really wanting to do work, mind you, but I just can’t find the willpower or attention span to actually do it. Which is terrible, because it’s all due tomorrow. Which means I will be up all night to get… some… work done. Sigh.
So as I sit here coming up with ideas about how to change restaurant designs, I thought I might reflect on my past week. I realized over the course of this week that I really do not like working in dining halls, I greatly enjoy working in restaurants (more back of house than front), and that there are certain times when it is best just to let something go, whether for a few hours or a lifetime. In this case, it was just for the weekend while… things happened. Things which made me remember the wonders of being invited to parties. Parties where a majority of the people I hang with on a regular basis go, so keeping myself together was vital. I did a good job, but George and Rose can tell you about later. I had a very nice life chat with Renee for about two hours though afterward.
Currently I am attempting to finish two projects and study for two prelims, which I have been doing all weekend, but I need to finish it all now.
Keeping in contact with my friends from the Academy has been difficult, what with their internet shutoff and my very sporadic schedule. But I have managed to find time to talk with George, Rose, Kieran, Madison and Beatrice. Another person who I have been able to keep in contact with is Amy. I wish though that I had more time to talk with people, but with classes, light design, a show, and three jobs I might be a bit in over my head. Maybe I should drop something…
Well, I should get back to work, so I will end this very short post here, but I promise that I will get around to explaining things in the future.
Also, shameless promotion here, but we have a Feedback form for the blog if you want to ask/tell us anything!
I’ll See You,
